"Summer makeup must be breathable and not heavy."

I remember reading this somewhere, perhaps on another blog, a tweet or a magazine, can't quite remember, but it stuck with me!

I actually agree, summer makeup should be breathable!

As the weather has become increasingly hotter over the past few days, i've just found it a lot easier to go with little or no makeup! A swipe of eyeliner, a tad of mascara and Carmex for my lips has been my routine!

I'm still on the hunt and testing out a few products, to come up with a good summer makeup routine, one that is easy to apply, and can stay on for a long period of time, and most importantly look natural and flawless! I've heard and read a lot about tinted moisturisers, glowing powders and illuminators and i'm looking into getting my hands on some! Any recommendations??

Nars Taj Mahal !!! It can be difficult to find so I suggest Space NK or selfridges in Ldn!! It is amazing and it lasts! It looks really orange, but blends soooo beautifully !

You look gorgeous barefaced. And I haven't worn anything besides eyeliner and vaseline on my lips for the past week.

I quite liked elf's tinted moisturiser. Otherwise, what works for me is mixing my own: a drop of foundation (revlon) with a drop or 1 1/2 of my favourite moisturiser (the body shop).

Giorgio Armani fluid sheer illuminator is amazing def cult product status. You can get a sample of selfridges before you commit to buying it.
