Shirley's Wardrobe

Friday, 20 December 2013

"We are afraid to change because we think that, after so much effort and sacrifice, we know our present world. And even though that world might not be the best of worlds, and even though we may not be entirely satisfied with it, at least it won't give us any nasty surprises..."

~ Quote by Paulo Coehlo

Change can be scary, but I've come to believe that change, when the time is right, is good.

I've been pondering about rebranding my blog for the longest time, and I've finally began to take the steps towards it (Leading on from my 'More Doing' post.).

Can you believe it's been nearly 5 years since I started blogging? Never in a million years did I think it would become what it is today. I started it off as a little hobby, one post lead to another, more of you started taking notice and reading it, and here we are! It is truly a blessing to have a place where I can be myself and be able to share what I love with all of you.

I've grown and evolved over the years (still doing so!) and I think it's time to move on to bigger an greater things! I'm becoming more experimental with my style, more open to new ideas and adventures and so the new name Shirley's Wardrobe is a much better fit.

(Plus I love the continuity it has with my YouTube Channel and other Social Media!)

I still hold dearly the origins of my blog, and it's old name.

Thanks for always sticking by me!

Lots of love,

**PS** Don't forget to bookmark!

I saw the name change was wondering if you had addressed it elsewhere ... its very fitting as althoughtit's a toss up between your makeup videos and lookbooks, I'm always more excited when you put on clothes, its so effortless and simple. Keep it up
